Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

LuxeSpin operates a self-service laundromat at 5 Glider Lane, Officer VIC 3809 and this website. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

By using this website you agree to the handling of personal information as described below.

2. Information we collect

This website does not require you to create an account and does not include contact or enquiry forms. We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses through this website.

When you visit, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security and to keep the site running reliably.

3. Cookies and embedded content

Pages on this site embed a Google Maps frame so you can find us and get directions. Google may set cookies and collect information about your use of that map in accordance with Google's own privacy policy, which we do not control.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the embedded map, may not work correctly if you do.

4. Loyalty programme links

Our loyalty programme sign-up links take you to a third-party platform operated on our behalf. Any personal information you provide there — such as your name, contact details or payment information — is collected and handled by that provider under its own privacy policy and terms.

We use loyalty information only to administer the programme, apply offers and communicate about the programme where you have agreed to receive those communications.

5. In-store information

Payments made in store are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.

Where CCTV or similar security measures operate on the premises, any recordings are used only for the safety and security of customers, staff and property, and are retained only as long as needed for that purpose.

6. Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We disclose personal information only to service providers who help us operate the business (such as hosting, payment and loyalty platform providers), or where required or authorised by law.

Some providers may store information overseas. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, and then take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a privacy complaint. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Requests can be made in person at the laundromat. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
